First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! You've made a very wise decision. Affiliate Marketing is an extremely profitable business and will enable you to ditch your day-job, spend more time with your family and work from the comfort of your home - but only if you do it right.

Affiliate Marketing Scams

Unfortunately, due to the large sums of money involved, there are inevitibly going to be scammers. Some are blatant, some are more subtle. This is not your biggest problem however.

If you're just starting out, you're going to need help to learn the basics. This is where the problem lies. Hundreds of affiliate marketers will be trying to sell you Basic Affiliate Marketing guides. Some are fantastic resources that will genuinely help you, some are re-hashed ideas from other guides that have been re-packaged to make the author (and his/her affiliates) more cash, and some are downright nonsense strategies that will never work.

Newbies teaching Newbies

When people learn affiliate marketing they are exposed to countless sales-letters and "next big thing" launches. When they finally start their own business it is quite often in the "make money online" niche. They see the huge amount of money the big guys are making and naturally want a piece of the action.

If you go surfing around the net you will find dozens of sites offering affiliate marketing help. Lots of these sites belong to affiliates that have never actually made any money online!! They are just copying a formula, and failing miserably. It goes without saying that these are not the best people to learn from!

Genuine Affiliate Marketing Help

The purpose of this website is to provide you with techniques and proven strategies to build a long-term sustainable income. I have several niche sites that do make money, so everything I discuss in my Affiliate Marketing Articles is tried-and-tested, and proven to work.

My Affiliate Marketing Reviews are written from personal experience of the products, and I will always give a genuine opinion (many marketers will recommend everything - just to earn a commission!!)

If it's crap - I'LL SAY IT'S CRAP, and tell you why I think so. I won't recommend crap just to get a commission, although I may recommend a better alternative :-)

Basic Affiliate Marketing Needs

There are countless products on the market to help you start (and build) your business. Some save time (but you don't actually need them to start with) and some are absolutely essential.

For example, I subscribe to Clipart.com but that's just a luxury, and you could do without it. However my Aweber subscription pays for itself with the business it generates in my UK niche and is an essential tool for most marketers.
